We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the fast-paced Energy industry. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant, with a particular focus on the production of ethanol. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience. If you have a passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for leadership, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
  • Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities that minimize production downtime.
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to procure necessary equipment and parts.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Analyze equipment failures and breakdowns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and incorporate them into our operations where feasible.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of major plant projects, such as equipment upgrades and facility expansions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in the production of ethanol is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, systems, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the energy industry.
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
