Our client is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, repair, and upkeep of facility and production equipment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all machinery, especially CNC systems and three-phase electrical components, are properly maintained to support efficient and cost-effective operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in CNC programming, troubleshooting machine tools, and working with three-phase electrical systems (120V, 208V/460V). A strong background in maintenance processes, health & safety regulations, and environmental compliance is essential. Additionally, this role requires handling administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations.
  • Manage the rigging, installation, and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to CNC programming and machine tool operations.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain 120V, 208V/460V three-phase electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and machine control diagrams.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
  • Supervise and allocate workloads for maintenance staff, including custodians and janitors.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment inventory, placing orders as needed.
  • Track maintenance expenses and control budgets effectively.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report daily activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, with a strong focus on CNC programming and three-phase electrical systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Electronics Trade School Graduate preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in machine tool repair and troubleshooting CNC equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in precision measuring instruments (e.g., Oscilloscopes, Digital Volt Meters, etc.).
  • Strong technical knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance operations.
  • Experience in planning and executing maintenance projects.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to track, document, and report maintenance activities accurately.
  • This role is ideal for a technically skilled and detail-oriented leader who can effectively manage both the operational and electrical aspects of CNC machinery while ensuring facility maintenance aligns with business needs.
