JBAndrews is proud to partner with a leading automation provider seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee on-site technical operations at a 24/7 distribution center. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced ASRS, AMRs, shuttles, conveyors, and pallet/tote systems.
About the Role:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be embedded at a key customer site, leading preventative maintenance, fault recovery, and troubleshooting for automated material handling systems. You will play a crucial role in managing service operations, coordinating repairs, maintaining spare parts inventory, and leading a team of on-site technicians. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in automation and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site maintenance and troubleshooting for ASRS, AMRs, conveyors, and shuttle systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and minimize failures
- Act as the primary technical contact for the customer, ensuring smooth system operation
- Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure timely repairs
- Manage and mentor a team of on-site technicians during your shift
- Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance system efficiency
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in automation, maintenance, or material handling systems
Strong hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and repairs for ASRS, AMRs, and conveyors
Experience leading or supervising maintenance teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Familiarity with CMMS, PLCs, and automation software is a plus
