Description
Maintenance Services Engineers are responsible for ensuring the cost-effective, smooth running, environmentally sound, and sustainable design and maintenance of engineering services in our buildings. Areas of responsibility include all equipment and materials involved with heating, lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, public health, fire protection, safety systems, lifts, escalators, facade engineering, and acoustics. This is an onsite role based in London with working hours of 36.7 hours over an 8-week period.

- To prioritize the interests of clients and maintain the integrity of the market in all business activities.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities:
A multi-skilled engineer (mechanically qualified) is required:
- To join an established 'in-house' team, working a staggered day rota, including weekends.
- Undertaking all aspects of building services, working on a wide variety of modern plant, equipment, and systems controlled by Siemens BMS.
- Responsibilities include reactive and planned maintenance for all building services.
- Participation in an out-of-hours call-out procedure.
- Interaction with building users at all levels and third-party service providers is required.
Qualifications
The Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
- C&G Electrical Installation Level 3 Apprenticeship, ideally with knowledge and experience of working within large office environments.
- 18th Edition IEE Regulations.
- Electrical Testing and Inspection experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of L8 standards.
- Knowledge of BMS and Lighting Controls Systems.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and legislation.
- Knowledge of all office building services, including AC and drainage.
- Time-management skills.
- Proficiency in technical drawing, computer modeling, and IT.
- HVAC AP Authorized status is desirable.
