JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Planning Clerk DATE: 6/2025

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Planner STATUS: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting the maintenance team in maintaining aspects of the preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Assistance with data analysis and reporting. Aid in coordinating and scheduling both preventative, corrective, and rebuild work orders in the CMMS system.

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. 1. Assisting in the CMMS system, including PM revisions, updating existing asset information, and updating maintenance documentation.
  2. 2. Aid in receiving contractor and parts quotes.
  3. 3. Department onboarding for new hires and support the maintenance department in shop tasks.
  4. 4. Assist in compiling data for reports
  5. 5. Work cooperatively with the parts room and purchasing to ensure parts are ordered and received/kitted to ensure they are available when needed.
  6. 6. Assist Planner in assigning work to Technician buckets.
  7. 7. Work with techs and supervisors during their shift on their performance in Fiix.
  8. 8. Attend meetings and training as required.
  9. 9. All other duties not listed but requested by Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Management, Senior Leadership, and Human Resources.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
  1. MUST possess exceptional problem-solving skills.
  2. MUST possess skills in communicating in a courteous and professional manner, both verbally and in writing to all team members.
  3. MUST have exceptional time management and prioritizing skills.
  4. MUST know how to effectively utilize a personal computer and a variety of software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  5. MUST be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  6. Must be able to pass required physical including demonstrating your ability to lift the required weight for each position.
  7. Ability to reflect the values of our company in public settings.
  8. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  1. Experience and proficiency utilizing CMMS system and/or D365 is highly preferred.
  2. A minimum of one year maintenance or maintenance planning experience in a large manufacturing environment is preferred.
  3. Be familiar with manufacturing maintenance requirements.
