Position: Maintenance Planner
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to support and enhance maintenance operations across multiple production sites. In this role, you will develop and coordinate preventive maintenance programs, facilitate communication between departments, and lead improvement initiatives that ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop preventive maintenance (PM) strategies for new and existing equipment across sites.
- Estimate required labor, tools, and resources to effectively execute maintenance tasks.
- Standardize maintenance plans and schedules aligned with company-wide objectives.
- Serve as the central liaison between maintenance and operations teams.
- Coordinate planned downtimes to minimize disruptions and improve uptime.
- Assist sites with setting job goals and optimizing spare parts inventory.
- Lead configuration and updates within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Provide regular CMMS training and act as administrator for system changes.
- Ensure documentation compliance and maintain records across all locations.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards on maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and PM completion rates.
- Champion preventive maintenance best practices and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field - or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with strong planning background.
Skills & Traits:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to work independently and provide leadership when needed.
- Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and extensive experience with CMMS platforms.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing competing priorities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $78,000 - $82,000 annually (depending on experience)
