Responsibilities:



• Adhere without exception to all safety policies and procedures, including use of all PPE and safety equipment.

• Able to use all equipment & machinery, understand and read all schematics drawings related to the trade requirements.

• Troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine root cause and initiate appropriate remedial action.

• Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches without supervision.

• Ensure machinery and equipment functions properly on completion of repairs, modification, and installations.

• Accomplish all work orders to maintain safety; reduce downtime; decrease scrap; improve quality production; and improve plant efficiency.

• Committed to continuous (daily and weekly) improvement of machinery, equipment, and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production supporting equipment.

• Follows all safety rules and procedures including Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards and observes the operations to ensure a safe work environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with co-workers and other departments. A person with a positive "can do attitude."

• Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:



• High School Diploma or GED

• 3-5 years' experience in the maintenance of production within a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.

• Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components; including, but not limited to, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Material Handling, Sensor, Transmitters, DC and AC circuits, Transformers, Power and Energy, Arc Flash

• Working knowledge and experience on Automation; Industrial Process and Control system; PLC; Measuring Devices; Instrumentation; Robotic Application; Bulk Handling System

• Working knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, heating, and wiring) and Plant Equipment (Air Compressors, Ventilation, Cooling Tower, Condenser, Backflow preventer)

• Mindfulness to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

• The ability to perform work in a mature and professional manner and perform all assigned duties in a demanding environment with lots of changes.
