Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift Location: Manitowoc, WI
Pay: $28 - $32/hour
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Our client in Manitowoc is looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their 3rd shift maintenance team. •  Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues.
•  Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
•  Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
•  Replace defective parts and calibrate equipment for optimal performance. Troubleshooting & Repairs
•  Respond to breakdowns and quickly diagnose root causes.
•  Utilize schematics, diagrams, and manuals to resolve issues efficiently.
•  Work alongside maintenance technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex problems. Documentation & Reporting
•  Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
•  Document equipment specifications, procedures, and schedules.
•  Provide input for continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. Safety & Compliance
•  Follow all safety protocols and company standards.
•  Identify potential hazards and take action to reduce risks.
•  Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety awareness . Collaboration & Communication
•  Work closely with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks.
•  Provide technical support on equipment operation and best maintenance practices. What We're Looking For:
•  High school diploma or equivalent ( technical certification preferred ).
•  Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing setting .
•  Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
•  Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics .
•  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints .
•  Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork .
•  Comfortable working in various environments (heights, confined spaces, exposure to noise/dust/chemicals). Physical Requirements:
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing.
