Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work in the Avon, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.Responsibilities: - Inspects equipment, tools and machinery for safety issues
- Requisitions parts and services
- Uses test equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose failures
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical failures: presses, equipment, plumbing, all vehicles (except expensive engine overhauls)
- Repairs tow motor, trucks, cranes, hoists
- Lays out and assembles new machines and equipment
- Carries tools and equipment to and from storage and working area
- Cleans machines with sandpaper, solvent and wiping rags to prepare surfaces for painting
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery using rags, brushes and grease gun
- Building Maintenance (toilets, light bulbs, sinks, ceiling tiles, some groundwork, etc.)
- Assist in training employees
- Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers on either shift
Required Skills and Experience: - Some hydraulic and pneumatic experience
- Conveyor repair (replace belts/drive belts, bearings, and tracking belts)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Experience in lock out tag out
- Welding and fabricating Ex: MIG, TIG, Stick, brake, roller, and/or plasma cutter
- Experience using hand tools
- Boom and scissor lift experience
- Ability to perform daily lube route
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment
- Bridgeport and lathe experience
