Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for mechanics? We're seeking a seasoned Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be a master technician, well-versed in various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role demands a combination of technical skills, creativity, and a keen eye for detail to ensure our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, your core responsibilities will include:

1. Performing routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a timely and effective manner.
3. Utilizing welding skills as needed for equipment repairs or modifications.
4. Conducting thorough inspections of machinery and systems to detect malfunctions, wear and tear, and safety hazards.
5. Troubleshooting complex equipment problems, applying innovative solutions to minimize production interruptions and machinery breakdowns.
6. Collaborating with the production team to understand equipment issues and provide technical guidance.
7. Assisting in the installation and setup of new equipment or machinery.
8. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
9. Adhering to all safety protocols and standards while performing job duties.
10. Continuously updating knowledge of new technology, equipment, and systems relevant to the manufacturing industry.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance mechanic role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
3. Proficiency in welding and other fabrication techniques.
4. Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
5. A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
6. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and explain technical information.
7. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or degree in a technical field is a plus.
9. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy machinery and work in different positions, such as standing, bending, or kneeling.
10. Willingness to work in different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
