Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust equipment. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and foundry facilities. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report issues or unusual situations to proper Maintenance Supervisor. Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Adheres to training program and any relevant training through the Operations Trainer. Other responsibilities as dictated by the Maintenance Supervisor. Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience in the following trades: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical, Mechanical, and/or PLCs Technical knowledge of equipment/machine processes. Ability to work OT, off-shifts, & weekends Combustion processes, burners, valve trains, temperature controllers Welding and fabricating Refractory and furnace lining. Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, machine controls, welding, PLC's & electrical Basic computer entry skills Health and Safety Standards and Compliance Process Improvement Techniques Electrical and electronic controls; troubleshooting and/or programming Mobile equipment including forklifts, wheel loaders Material handling, conveyors Ventilation systems with 50-250 HP motor Bag houses (dust collectors) Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strengths in teamwork, organization, communication, and efficiency. The base hourly pay range for this position is $34.62 - $38.00. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role.
