Job Opportunity: Maintenance Manager
The Role: We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead and provide hands-on expertise to our maintenance team at a cutting-edge facility. The aim is to achieve top-tier operations while ensuring the safe upkeep, repair, or replacement of facility assets. This position also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient, high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute both short-term and long-term maintenance strategies to boost operational efficiency.
- Set safety objectives and plans for the Maintenance Department to maintain a secure work environment.
- Develop a robust Plant Maintenance Program utilizing industry best practices to enhance equipment reliability and uptime.
- Oversee and evaluate maintenance activities to ensure the adoption of the most effective, efficient, and modern technology and maintenance practices.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies by the maintenance team.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance department performance metrics to evaluate operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in a corrugated packaging manufacturing environment.
- Over 10 years of maintenance experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to the highest safety and work standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills to implement preventive measures.
- Experience in budget management and planning.
- Capability to work in a 24/7 operational facility.
- Strategic mindset with the confidence to make decisions affecting safety, uptime, and productivity.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members to build a highly productive, safety-focused team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style and interact across all levels of the organization.
