Summary:
A chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations at its production facility. This key leadership role involves strategic planning, team supervision, and hands-on execution to ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, engineering principles, and regulatory compliance, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a maintenance team, fostering a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Plan and oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring minimal production disruptions and timely work order completion.
Design and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to support long-term equipment reliability.
Manage maintenance budgets and resources, including forecasting costs and maintaining equipment, inventory, and labor plans.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor maintenance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections and safety audits.
Provide hands-on technical support, guiding troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment repairs.
Supervise, train, and evaluate team members, handling scheduling, performance feedback, and personnel management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
5+ years in maintenance leadership, ideally in aerosol, high-speed production, or facilities.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; OSHA compliance.
Proficient in CMMS and data analysis for maintenance performance.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; and/or 10+ years equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in aerosol industry, high speed conveying, facilities management .
