We're partnering with a global leader in materials and systems for the automotive industry to find an experienced Maintenance Manager for their Taylor, MI manufacturing site.
In this role, you'll take ownership of the mechanical and electrical systems across the facility - ensuring equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, including facility infrastructure and production equipment
- Lead preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage facility security and emergency procedures
- Properly handle, package, and document hazardous and regulated waste
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and participate in required safety training
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Process, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Experience with batch manufacturing equipment, pumps, motors, and integrated mechanical-electrical systems
- Forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required
