Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 + 15% Bonus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and inspire the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance of production equipment, electrical systems, and the physical building.
  • Shape the advancement of your team through robust training programs and performance management strategies.
  • Oversee compliance with all USDA and FDA manufacturing standards to uphold product quality and safety.
  • Optimize departmental budgets, ensuring sufficient resources to minimize downtime and maintain seamless operations.
  • Implement preventative maintenance, energy efficiency initiatives, and continuous improvement programs to boost productivity.
  • Research and execute procurement strategies for equipment and materials to support product innovation and operational enhancements.
  • Manage capital projects-coordinate design, construction, and maintenance with external vendors while tracking timelines and costs.
  • Develop and execute strategies for increasing line efficiency and reducing operational costs through continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of supervisory/ management experience in maintenance or engineering.
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in Food.
  • Expertise in modern maintenance practices such as CMMS, PLC systems, preventative maintenance programs, high-speed packaging, downtime analysis, and budgeting.
  • Hands-on refrigeration systems, and compliance within USDA/FDA environments preferred.
