We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee and ensure the optimal performance of our food manufacturing facility's maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the facility's mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Leading the maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of production equipment, electrical systems, and the physical infrastructure of the building.
- Project Management: Managing capital projects, including budgeting, cost analysis, planning, and implementing timelines.
- Team Development: Developing both direct and indirect reports through training, performance management, and succession planning.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the facility's operations comply with USDA and FDA regulations.
- Budgeting: Preparing and managing departmental budgets to ensure availability of systems, parts, and supplies to minimize downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implementing programs to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Overseeing external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Conducting cost analyses and improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Experience: At least 5 years of maintenance management/engineering experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Skills: Proficiency in CMMS, PLCs, preventative maintenance, and various manufacturing systems. Experience with refrigeration systems and working in USDA/FDA environments is preferred.
