Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager in Elgin, IL. The qualified candidate will be responsible for handling all maintenance and assigned projects within the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all resources are being used efficiently and effectively
- Ensure all subordinates and following all laws and guidelines including OSHA, EPA, DHEC, NEC and FDA guidelines
- Direct mechanics for all maintenance work and ensure assignments are in relation to their skills
- Control duration, cost, quality, and thoroughness of all work
- Assign and direct all PPM work orders
- Review and make adjustments to all planned job packages
- Ensure safe work practices are followed
- Oversee skills training and development of employees
- Confirm all work is reported through the CMMS daily
- Supervise all direct reports, complete reviews and provide feedback
Requirements:
- 5-10 years technical experience in the food industry
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Bachelor's degree required, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred
- Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills
