Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, On-Call for 4 shifts per month (Incentives provided)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech Lead to join a growing manufacturing facility located in Gray Court, South Carolina, a rapidly expanding area near Greenville. This position is available due to a Leave of Absence and Retirement vacancy. You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the production equipment at this high-output location.
As a key part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing machine modifications, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment operates at the highest efficiency. If you have experience working with Windmöller & Hölscher plastic extrusion machines, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform machine repairs: Make necessary machine modifications and repairs to maintain production equipment efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting production equipment and provide support in replacing mechanical or electrical parts that break down.
- Preventive & Emergency Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to emergency maintenance needs as instructed.
- Team Leadership: Serve as the first line of technical support for maintenance personnel, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Work Distribution: Receive work assignments from the Maintenance Manager and delegate to the team.
- Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain cleanliness in all areas and adhere to safety protocols.
- Equipment Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify potential issues and implement solutions to avoid breakdowns.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) plastic extrusion machine experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Capable of completing reports and maintaining necessary records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical skills: ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
