The company is seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic Calibration and Maintenance Team.
The Maintenance Engineer Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations team's day-to-day activities. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting repairs on process equipment and environmental stress screening facilities, utilizing drawings, circuit diagrams, schematics, and user manuals to ensure the smooth running of the company's operations.
The Maintenance Engineer position offers a diverse and challenging work environment, where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and fault-finding at the component level, as well as implementing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) measures to keep the equipment in top condition.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will need:
- Minimum qualification: HNC in a relevant engineering subject
- Experience and knowledge in fault-finding down to the component level
- Ability to utilize instructions, handbooks, drawings, or specifications to provide technical advice and guidance
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Familiarity with manufacturing process equipment (CCA manufacture experience is desirable)
- Proficiency in working with vibration shakers and environmental chambers (desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor and guide junior staff when required
- Good understanding of SAP (desirable)
