Maintenance Engineer 6am 2pm Shift No Nights, No Weekends You're probably not short of options right now. Maintenance Engineers rarely are.
But here's one that's not about chasing breakdowns all day and high-fiving each other for slapping a temporary fix on a problem that ll be back next shift.
This role s about actually improving stuff. Reducing downtime. Saving money. Making machinery perform the way it was designed to. You know what maintenance is supposed to be.
The business? A small, family-feel food manufacturer that genuinely values its engineers. You won t be just another name on a shift rota. You ll be part of a close-knit team where your opinion counts and your ideas get listened to (and shock horror sometimes even implemented).
The shift?
6am 2pm. Monday to Friday. That s it.
No lates. No nights. No weekends.
Unless you really miss the romance of 2am call-outs, this should be music to your ears.
What they need:
-
You ll ideally come from a food or FMCG background.
-
We're looking for an electrically biased engineer (don't need to be a PLC wizard, but some fault finding experience would be great.)
-
Most importantly, you ll be someone who wants to fix and improve, not just react and reset.
If that sounds like a better way to spend your week than being stuck on a breakdown merry-go-round, hit apply.
Or don t. Totally up to you.
But if you do, you might just find yourself in a job where you go home on time, in a good mood, and without your overalls smelling like burnt belts and disappointment.
