Maintenance Engineer
Location: Paulton, Somerset
Salary: £48,000
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays (6am-12pm) (subject to change)
On-call rota required (including nights) Overtime 1.5 rate
About the Role
This well-established business is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support its operations. This role involves maintaining and repairing production and intake systems, ensuring minimal downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This company have a number of sites across the UK and have a number of ongoing projects, which is more than enough to get your teeth stuck into.
If you're mechanical bias, with an electrical understanding this role could be a great fit
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operations
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and interruptions
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and safety
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for compliance and safety
Requirements:
- Qualification/apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical fields
- Understanding of Safe Isolation procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
