Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days Only: 6am - 6pm)

I am working with one of the UK's leaders in the food and beverage sector. They are a fast-growing and innovative manufacturer who are committed to producing high-quality products using sustainable practices.

They are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking production environment. You'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimisation of our production equipment and facilities, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, safety, and performance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and condition monitoring across key manufacturing equipment.
  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out minor facility tasks such as fire alarm testing, drain clearing, and door maintenance.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment comply with Health & Safety regulations; report any non-compliances.
  • Support maintenance activities across additional UK sites when required.
  • Adhere to company standards for handling incidents and dangerous occurrences.
  • Provide training to machine operators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse line and product performance and complete daily activity logs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the fresh produce or beverage industry.
  • Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or industry-specific apprenticeships).
  • Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on experience with production line machinery including conveyor systems, bucket fillers, and strapping machines.
  • Capable of working independently under pressure while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Strong planning, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.
