MAITENANCE ENGINEER

Job Summary:
A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the operation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of plant facilities and equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced, mid-sized industrial environment. The position offers growth potential, including a path to a Maintenance Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute and monitor plant maintenance budgets and service continuity.
Lead and manage facility improvement and construction projects.
Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
Track and report on KPIs, project milestones, and safety performance.
Support BRC safety initiatives and enforce compliance across the facility.
Provide regular presentations and updates to management.
Manage lifting, rigging, and maintenance tools in accordance with facility standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in facility/project management or industrial maintenance.
Skills:
Skilled in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Basic proficiency in hand tools, tape measure, multi-meters, and rigging equipment.
Familiarity with safety protocols (BRC knowledge ideal).
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
