Maintenance Engineer - Boston, Lincolnshire 47,500 + Bonus 3-Shift (Mon-Fri, Days & Nights)
W Talent are working exclusively with a thriving manufacturing business based in Boston, who are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer. This role is based in a large, fast-paced manufacturing facility, where you will be key to ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

The role focuses on reactive and preventative maintenance, with a mechanical bias, though multi-skilled engineers are encouraged to apply. The client welcomes candidates from a wide range of industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver reactive and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment across the site.
- Quickly diagnose faults and carry out repairs to reduce downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they affect production.
- Collaborate with production teams to support continuous improvement and maximise equipment reliability.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report on work completed.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery or equipment as required.
- Comply with health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing, Engineering, plastics or FMCG environment.
- Mechanical bias preferred; however, multi-skilled candidates with electrical experience will also be considered.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness and ability to work a 3-shift pattern covering days and nights, Monday to Friday.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-moving environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeships are desirable.
