Maintenance Coordinator/Foreman


Objective

The Maintenance Coordinator/Foreman is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution of work processes. This role focuses on eliminating obstacles that impact productivity while aligning with safety, regulatory, and operational goals.


Key Responsibilities

Work Coordination & Execution

  • Execute assigned maintenance responsibilities to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track work progress.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to oversee maintenance activities.
  • Plan and coordinate contractor support for various maintenance tasks.

Planning & Scheduling Support

  • Assist in maintenance planning by providing insights on contractor management.
  • Ensure maintenance plans are complete, feasible, and aligned with priorities.
  • Maintain awareness of upcoming maintenance activities and schedule requirements.
  • Participate in key meetings to align on scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Support scheduling efforts to ensure effective sequencing of maintenance work.

Budget & Resource Oversight

  • Assist in managing maintenance budgets and contractor costs.
  • Monitor planned work orders and support approval and scheduling processes.
  • Evaluate emergent maintenance needs to ensure timely execution while maintaining operational efficiency.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Support maintenance execution by monitoring work quality and adherence to schedules.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within tracking systems.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold maintenance standards.

General Maintenance Program Support

  • Assist in developing and managing strategies to improve safety, reliability, and asset performance.
  • Oversee general maintenance activities and support operational goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize maintenance processes.

Safety & Professional Development

  • Promote and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Provide training and mentorship as needed.
