How The Program Works:

The Stryten Energy Maintenance Co-Op program combines supervised structured on-the-job training with related technical instruction. The supervised structured on-the-job training will take place at our manufacturing facility in Lampeter, PA. The related technical instruction is the academic portion of the program, and will be provided through your enrollment at Lancaster County CTC.


We are hiring 3 Co-Ops. One in each of the three areas:


Electricalmechanical Engineering

Metal Fabrication

Precision Machining


Responsibilities

The Company will instruct the Co-Op in safe and healthful work practices and procedures, and will ensure that the Co-Op is trained to safely carry out their job duties. The Co-Op will be held accountable to follow all health & safety rules, work practices and procedures at all times.


As a Co-Op, it is expected that you will follow and adhere to the following:

  • Work safely in accordance with applicable Company policies and work rules.
  • Comply with absenteeism and tardiness policies at work and school.
  • Attend and participate in related instructional and educational programs and maintain the highest possible grades as required.
  • Be involved and show dedication to your training, both on the job and in the classroom.
  • Show dedication and interest in learning the trade.
  • Show respect to the Company employees training and supervising you.
  • Follow the Company's written work rules and applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The Maintenance Co-Op program is available to individuals who meet the qualifications through being enrolled at Lancaster County CTC.
