Job Title: Mainframe Batch/CICS Production Support Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Flexible working hours with core hours from 12 PM - 9 PM EST)
Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Mainframe Batch/CICS Production Support Analyst to join a dynamic global technology support team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting critical Mainframe applications and managing incidents in a high-pressure environment. This role requires collaboration across regions and functions, with a focus on timely resolution, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide production support for multiple Post Trade Technology Mainframe applications in a global team setting.
- Monitor batch jobs, handle real-time incident management, and drive resolution of issues within defined SLA timelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem resolution for recurring production issues.
- Coordinate onboarding of new client data feeds and reports.
- Leverage strong communication skills to effectively update stakeholders, lead triage calls, and hand off support between onshore/offshore teams.
- Support and maintain batch scheduling tools and related configurations.
- Collaborate with developers, business teams, vendors, and infrastructure partners for seamless application support.
- Flexibly handle after-hours support for priority incidents and recovery situations as needed.
Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in Mainframe application support or development.
- Strong technical expertise in: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, MQ Series, Endevor, FTP, SAR.
- Solid understanding of Mainframe batch scheduling tools such as CA7, OPC, or TWS.
- Proven ability to manage multiple Mainframe applications and ensure system stability.
- Exceptional incident management and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and communication purposes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a global support team.
Nice to Have: - Experience with midrange systems: Windows, UNIX, Linux, SQL.
- Knowledge of Post Trade Securities Processing including Trade Processing, Clearing, Settlements, and Asset Services.
