Job Summary The Mailroom Clerk will support daily mail and print operations at the law office of Nelson Mullins. This position involves managing inbound/outbound mail, copy/print tasks, and setting up conference calls with laptops. The role requires a high level of technical aptitude, strong computer skills, and the physical ability to be on one†s feet for extended periods. It is a hands-on, non-administrative role ideal for candidates with experience in legal office environments.
Key Responsibilities - Process and distribute inbound and outbound mail in accordance with office protocols.
- Operate office copy/print equipment, ensuring timely and accurate completion of print requests.
- Set up laptops and manage basic technology needs for conference calls and meetings.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed.
- Deliver mail and printed materials throughout the office.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of shipments and mail items.
- Provide support to office staff for mail, print, and light technical needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized mailroom and print area.
- Work on-site and remain on foot for much of the workday.
Required Qualifications - High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience working in a professional office environment, preferably legal.
- Demonstrated work history with strong reliability and job stability.
- Solid understanding of copy/print operations and equipment.
- Strong computer skills and a high level of technical aptitude.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry items regularly.
- Comfortable working in a non-administrative, active role.
