Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and technically proficient Mail Clerk to support the daily office operations at Nelson Mullins. This role involves handling copy/print services, managing inbound and outbound mail, and providing basic tech support for setting up conference calls. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a legal office or professional services environment and is comfortable with a fast-paced, physically active position.
Key Responsibilities - Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently.
- Operate and maintain office copy and print equipment, ensuring supplies are stocked and machines are functioning.
- Set up conference calls and laptop connections for meetings.
- Deliver documents and packages within the office in a timely manner.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including preparing packages and handling couriers.
- Provide excellent customer service to office staff and attorneys.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mail and copy/print areas.
Required Qualifications - Experience in a legal or corporate office environment preferred.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude (basic troubleshooting for conference call setups, printers, laptops).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods â€" this is not a desk job.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment.
