Key Responsibilities: - Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
- Perform quality control checks using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, machinists, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with different materials, including metals and plastics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to X lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in machining.
