Volt is immediately hiring for a Machinist in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
As a Machinist you will:
- This position will be programing and running a new machine
- Help with other tasks in the machine shop, including operating- Machine is a Mazak HCN-4000
- Set up work pieces
- Maintenance
- First Article Inspection
This is a full time opportunity. 6:00am-2:30am
The ideal candidate will have:
- Working in the elements could be hot or cold depending on weather.
- CNC PROGRAMING experience is a MUST
- Prefer high school diploma or GED.
- Must have basic knowledge of reading and writing.
- Must be able to read and understand warning and safety regulations.
- Must be able to follow repetitive work and follow verbal instructions.
- Must be able to perform precise work to close tolerances.
- Must have good organizational and reasoning capabilities
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- All safety regulations bust be strictly adhered to.
- Risk associated with operation of forklifts and cranes
Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
