High-volume manufacturing facility in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Tooling Manager/Machinist to oversee the repair, service, and maintenance of plant systems and equipment. Experience in repair, fabrication, troubleshooting and mechanical equipment would be helpful. PLC and Welding would be a plus. The standard metals used include Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Silicon Bronze, and Stainless Steel.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with related vocational education.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a machinist.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic on industrial equipment.
- Proven ability to safely troubleshoot and repair complex industrial systems.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrable ability in fabrication, welding, and the use of lathes and milling machines.
- Familiarity with basic electrical, hydraulic, and compressed air safety procedures.
- Expertise in Lockout/Tagout concepts and procedures.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated safe and productive work habits.
- Ability and willingness to acquire additional tools or certifications as needed.
