Check out our many videos to learn more. Currently seeking a Machine Shop Programmer to join our Hobby Airport location Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Programmer include, but are not limited to: - Create efficient, accurate, run ready 2, 3 & 5 axis Esprit programs from SolidWorks models
- Modify Esprit Posts for Mazak Machines
- Milling - 3 Axis - HCN 6800 - Pallet changer with B axis
- Turning - 2 axis - STN 500M with live tooling
- Turning - 2 axis - QTN 350MY with live tooling
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and QC to streamline product line process
- Assist CNC operators with machine setups
- Create tooling and setup documentation for each CNC program
- Create macro programs for probe inspection of each part
- Work with tooling vendors to stay current with tool cutting technology
Qualifications of the Machine Shop Programmer include, but are not limited to: - 5+ years of machine shop experience
- 5+ years of CNC EIA programming
- 5+ years programming with Esprit Version 2012 or greater
- CMM experience/programming is a plus
- Must be a team player that is able to work in a fast pace multitasking environment
- Ability to train and work closely with CNC machine operators in order to produce quality parts that meet or exceed established run times
Additional Information: Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
