Work Schedule & Shifts:
A Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
C Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Programmer - III to join a dynamic and mission-driven team working on cutting-edge spaceflight systems. As a Machine Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and modifying NC programs using PC-DMIS for mills, lathes, multi-axis mills/lathes, and VTLs. Your contribution will directly impact the successful production of high-precision, tight-tolerance components essential to safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and modify NC programs for CNC machines, ensuring engineering requirements are met.
  • Create and manage machining strategies, set-up sheets, and cutting tool selections.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and shop floor teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Design custom tooling and fixtures where required.
  • Provide DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) feedback.
  • Maintain configuration control and detailed job documentation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and product acceptance.
  • Ensure safety and compliance in an industrial environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in NC programming.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills including GD&T (ASME Y14.5M-1994).
  • Experience with tool/fixture design and cutter selection/design.
  • Proficient in feed and speed calculations.
  • Hands-on experience with Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum machining.
  • Skilled in setup sheet development and managing machine programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mastercam X7 or newer experience.
  • Unigraphics NX programming experience.
  • Experience using Vericut or similar verification software.
  • Machinist background with CNC setup and operation.
  • Shift flexibility and overtime may be required based on production needs.
