JOB FUNCTIONS
Operate machines and use equipment to retrieve materials and/or products for production processes.
Set-up, tear down, calibrate, and operate machines in production.
Operate, maintain, and inspect production equipment; correct routine malfunctions.
Perform start-up and shut-down sanitation; implement preventative maintenance.
Observe equipment operations, detect malfunctions, and notify supervisors/maintenance.
Lift materials and products manually or with hoists/forklifts; load/unload items.
Monitor product quality in manufacturing and packaging areas.
Signal workers for material handling tasks (discharge, dump, level).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma, GED or equivalent Prior experience in food manufacturing or processing Monitor machinery for proper operation and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Understanding GMP and other food safety standards. Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment used in production. Awareness of quality assurance practices and how to conduct product quality assessments.
