Job Summary: As a Machine Operator in the Wood Department , you will be responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:
•   Operate a variety of production machinery and equipment
•   Use calipers, micrometers, and rulers to inspect product dimensions and ensure quality standards
•   Maintain a clean and safe work area
•   Accurately complete written production reports
•   Sort boards in the designated end board sorting area
•   Perform additional duties as assigned
•   Report all activities and concerns to your supervisor Qualifications:
•   High school diploma, GED, or HSED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
•   Experience using calipers or similar measuring tools is required
•   Comfortable with basic math, reading decimals, and measuring accurately
•   Ability to read and write basic instructions and reports
•   Willingness to become forklift certified if needed
•   Must be reliable, dependable, and have a positive work attitude
•   Open to working overtime as needed
