Do you have a knack for small engine repair? Do you like a lot of variety on the job? Then we have the job for you.
Our client in Suamico produces custom-ordered sewn products including machine covers, tool pouches, and banners (not clothing). They are looking for a small motor mechanic, or sewing machine mechanic to repair and maintain sewing machines and other finishing equipment. Training is available.
Machine Maintenance Compensation/Benefits:
• Pay - $18 - $20/hour depending on experience
• First Shift - 6:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., Monday - Thursday and 6:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Fridays
• Benefits - 401(k) and vacation pay available
Machine Maintenance Responsibilities:
• Analyze problems and fix sewing and other finishing machines
• Preventive maintenance on sewing and other finishing machines
• (hand cutters, grommeters, snap and rivet machines)
• Research and order parts for machines
• Maintain a stock of parts for common machines
• Some light building maintenance
• Back-up for forklift
Machine Maintenance Qualifications:
• Able to work with small, intricate parts
• Some electrical background
• Basic computer knowledge
