ML Ops Engineer - Satellite Data & Climate Intelligence

Location: Denver or Boston

️ About the Role

We're seeking an experienced ML Ops Engineer to help scale and streamline machine learning infrastructure across high-volume, real-time geospatial data pipelines. You'll join a fast-moving engineering team building systems that turn atmospheric, satellite, and Earth observation data into actionable insights for climate, defense, and commercial markets.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML model development, training, and deployment
  • Optimize end-to-end data workflows-from raw remote sensing input to production-grade inference
  • Containerize and orchestrate ML workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow
  • Collaborate with data scientists to translate research models into scalable, monitored production systems
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Monitor model performance and retraining triggers across distributed compute environments
  • Automate model versioning, artifact tracking, and experiment reproducibility (e.g., MLflow, DVC)

What We're Looking For

  • 3-7 years of experience in ML Ops, DevOps, or Data Engineering
  • Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production environments
  • Experience with large-scale, sensor or satellite-based data workflows a big plus
  • Solid understanding of data lifecycle, version control, and CI/CD practices in ML
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with common ML frameworks
  • Background in Earth science, meteorology, or geospatial data is a bonus but not required
  • Must be able to work in the office in Either Denver or Boston
