We're hiring on behalf of a stealth-mode AI startup backed by Tier 1 VCs, founded by top engineers out of Silicon Valley. This is a rare chance to join as one of the earliest technical hires building foundational AI systems. From autonomous agents to production-ready ML infrastructure - all in the real world, not just research labs.
They're solving deep technical challenges in infrastructure automation using cutting-edge ML, and they need builders with both research depth and engineering rigor.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and iterating on AI agents that tackle complex, domain-specific tasks autonomously
- Building production-ready ML systems deployed in large-scale enterprise environments
- Evaluating performance in real-world conditions and generalizing across scenarios
- Collaborating closely with a small, high-agency team across ML, product, and customer engineering
You'll Be a Great Fit If You
- Are motivated by big technical swings with real-world impact
- Can move fast in ambiguous, high-ownership environments
- Have a strong academic background (BS/MS/PhD in CS, Math, or similar)
- Are already in the Bay Area or open to relocating for in-office collaboration
