What You Will Do

We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary Lead AI/ML Engineer to join our clients team and spearhead the development of cutting-edge machine learning and AI solutions. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of state-of-the-art ML/AI systems that solve the most challenging and high-impact problems faced by our customers.
  • Design and scale distributed applications, making thoughtful architectural trade-offs and employing both synchronous and asynchronous design patterns to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Build and deploy advanced ML models, including large language models (LLMs), for complex web applications, ensuring compliance with architectural best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of research engineers, helping them apply advanced ML techniques to critical business problems.
  • Own the entire ML model lifecycle, from data sampling and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring at scale.
  • Represent our innovations in academic and industry communities through publications, talks, and other engagements that highlight our data products and scientific expertise.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver impactful AI solutions that drive real business outcomes.

Your Background

  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical/quantitative discipline - or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in developing and deploying machine learning models end-to-end, including model training, evaluation, and scaling in production environments.
  • 8+ years of experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a deep understanding of ML algorithms and solution architecture.
  • 8+ years of experience working with large-scale machine learning systems, both in terms of operational and model complexity.
  • 5+ years of expertise in at least one of the following domains:
  • Computer Vision
  • Image Processing
  • NLP / LLMs
  • Statistical Modeling / Inference
  • Graph or Geometric Deep Learning
  • Generative AI
  • Data Mining
  • Proven experience in deploying ML/AI applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong software engineering skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
