About the role:
Join BioSky as a founding Machine Learning Engineer focused on Earth observation imagery. You will build and deploy computer vision and neural network models that convert multi sensor satellite data into actionable insights. The role offers a stipend and equity, with significant scope to shape both the technology and the company's growth.
Your Responsibilities
Design, train and deploy end to end deep learning models (LSTM/RNN, CNN, GNN, Transformers)
Develop Data Pipeline and Design domain specific features or embeddings; automate feature generation and validation.
Prototype and productionise multi sensor fusion workflows that blend satellite, and multi source data compressing petabytes into millisecond APIs
Own model life cycle: data curation, experiment tracking, MLOps, CI/CD, GPU/TPU training, scalable inference on cloud.
Define metrics, create cross validation and A/B testing frameworks; guard against bias and data drift.
Must Haves
0 3 yrs hands on building & shipping deep tech ML products
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
Strong grasp of time series & image models (ConvLSTM, Attention, Vision Transformers)
Publish findings, win global competitions (e.g., ESA, Kaggle, Frontier Development Labs), and turn research spikes into platform capabilities.

Experience of MLOps and Automation
Understanding about GraphCast, Pangu Weather, ClimaX or similar

BioSky is a pre seed, pre revenue startup, so compensation comes as a modest stipend plus a meaningful founding team equity stake.
