We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Machine Design Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of dip molding and dip coating equipment. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of equipment design, material handling automation, and robotics, with strong mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience in designing complex automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engineering and Process Development:
  • Design and develop equipment, tools, and processes for dip molding and dip coating.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Equipment Design & Development:

  • Create detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks, including PDM Vault and Simulation tools.
  • Develop automation solutions with a focus on material handling automation and robotics.
  • Perform feasibility studies, stress analysis, and tolerance stack-up calculations.

Project Execution & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to support project objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing machine performance.
  • Assist in the selection of components and materials for custom automation solutions.

Innovation and Technology Integration:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Evaluate and recommend new materials, methods, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Support the integration of automation and robotics into existing and new manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on machine design and automation.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, including PDM Vault and Simulation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience with material handling automation and robotics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
