Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a skilled Machine Builder for a large-scale project located in Auburn Hills, MI. This position involves hands-on mechanical assembly and support during the equipment build and installation phases.
Core Responsibilities -
Follow established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and direction from Manufacturing Leaders.

Review blueprints, schematics, and layouts to determine proper procedures and sequencing of operations.

Assemble and install component parts and equipment using hand and power tools.

Operate metalworking machines to grind, tack weld, drill, or machine parts as needed.

Assist other trades (electricians, pipefitters, robot and PLC programmers) during try-out and debug stages.

Perform rigging and dismantling for equipment shipping.

Assist with equipment reassembly and adjustments at customer sites as needed.

Provide technical support or feedback on completed systems when requested.
Other Responsibilities -
Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.

Follow all safety policies and procedures in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company standards.

Stop production if unsafe working conditions are observed.

Immediately report any safety concerns to a supervisor or Joint Health and Safety Committee member.
Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma required; college training or completed apprenticeship in Machine Tool Builder (or related trade) preferred.

Ability to safely operate and obtain certification for equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
