Vascular and Endovascular Clinic is now hiring for a patient-oriented and personable
Medical Assistant for our growing clinic.
Position Summary & Highlights:
- As an MA in the Vascular and Endovascular clinic, you will work with our Vascular Physicians and other staff includes an RN, and front office staff.
- Saint Alphonsus Vascular & Endovascular doctors and staff provide comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for the entire spectrum of vascular conditions.
- Through the use of optimal medical management of vascular disease, minimally invasive catheter-based intervention and conventional open surgery, treatment is tailored to the individual needs of the patient.
What You Will Do: - In addition to typical MA duties, you will complete chart prep and assist with minor procedures.
- You will also perform patient follow up, assist with referrals, conduct prior authorizations, and schedule surgeries and imaging appointments.
- This is a growing clinic, so there will be opportunities to grow and develop this role as the clinic grows.
- An ideal candidate will enjoy a supportive, positive, and quiet environment in a smaller clinic.
- You are hard-working, adaptable, and and enjoy working independently.
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, either 4 - 5 days per week, Mondays - Fridays, 8 to 10 hour days.
- There may be occasional travel to the Nampa Vascular outreach clinic.

Minimum Requirements : - High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
- MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Technologists (RMA)
- National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
- National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP)
- New Graduates: 1) MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school. 2) Completion of either a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hours even with MA certification.
- Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
- Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year. See each of the credentialing organization sites for additional details. EMT and CNA certifications will not count towards an MA certification.
