Lube Technician

Responsible for properly performing all services required in the hood and pit compartment of customer vehicles and directing activities in the bay area of a GMI. Direct vehicle into bay and place fender covers on vehicle Check and advise Manager on air filter, breather and PCV status or other items recommended Check and test brake fluid Check and fill if necessary, clutch fluid, battery electrolyte level, windshield washer fluid, automatic transmission fluid and power steering fluid Check and test anti-freeze Add / check motor oil Perform visual inspection of belts and hoses Record information on Service Order Ticket Double check own work for accuracy Other duties Perform general center maintenance and cleaning; mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from site, cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas Attend crew meetings as required Run errands as requested Perform other duties as assigned.
