Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN I) provides direct and indirect patient care using selected nursing skills under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This role focuses on recognizing and addressing basic to intermediate care needs while identifying and reporting urgent or emergent situations requiring advanced medical attention.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care as guided by established protocols and under the direction of RNs or physicians.
- Recognize and report urgent/emergent situations to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow detailed instructions to ensure patient safety and care effectiveness.
- Support care activities in both clinical and long-term care settings.
QualificationsEducation & Experience- Graduate of an approved school of nursing (Required).
Licensure- Must hold a current NV Nursing Pool License to be eligible for submission.
Skills- Strong observational abilities to identify patient needs.
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to follow detailed care instructions precisely.
