Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the unit
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the unit staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to the unit staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
- Handle any patient or family concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Current LPN / RN license
- Previous experience in a nurse management or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems and processes
- Experience in behavioral health, cardiac catheterization, pain management, memory care, neonatal ventilator, critical care, home care, or other specialized areas is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
