LPN Outpatient

Licensed Practical Nurses at this organization provide nursing support in a physician practice or clinic setting, assisting with patient assessments, preparing patients for evaluations, administering medications, maintaining work areas, documenting patient information, providing patient teaching, assisting with referrals and lab procedures. Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, one year of experience in a physician office, current LPN licensure in Virginia, Radiologic Technician Limited licensure if performing radiology, and current AHA BLS-HCP certification. Other qualifications include customer service skills, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, proficiency in using automated computer systems, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
