Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide nursing support in a physician practice or clinic, assisting with quality patient care as directed by healthcare providers.
Conduct patient assessments (vital signs, medications, etc.). Prepare patients for evaluations and assist during exams and procedures. Administer medications and injections as directed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Document patient information in electronic medical records. Provide patient education and assist with referrals and lab procedures. Requirements include: LPN licensure in Virginia, one year of physician office experience preferred, and current BLS certification. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
