Services include child & adolescent psychiatric, medical, substance abuse, residential, Crisis Care and therapy services, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center provides a full continuum of care which includes a trauma-informed environment for both patients and staff.

We are currently seeking a contingent LPN for our Opiate Treatment Program. The person in this position would be knowledgeable of and skilled in general nursing procedures, i.e., record keeping, medications, and storage and administration of medications, etc. Essential Duties include but are not limited to: The person in this position would be knowledgeable of and skilled in general nursing procedures, i.e., record keeping, medications, and storage and administration of medications, etc. Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
  1. Open clinic when needed and perform usual early morning duties.
  2. Records Methadone discrepancies and computer correcting
  3. Review files of all patients discharged to ensure compliance with established protocols, medical policies and procedures, and files are appropriately documented and in correct order.
  4. Works closely with the physician and properly triages patients to ensure quality patient care.
  5. Record refrigerator temperature in log ledger.
  6. Check inventories and first aid kit on a monthly basis.
  7. Monitors patient urine/drug screens and processes all related paperwork.
  8. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Medical Services Supervisor.
  9. Methadone dispensing

Work Hours: Four 8-hour shifts 5:00AM - 1:00PM per month with rotating weekends and assigned holidays.

Requirements

  1. A current Ohio LPN license & have certification allowing the administration of medication
  2. 3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting
  3. 2 years of medical experience
  4. Must have a working knowledge of Chemical Dependency; including the addictive process, withdrawal, and the recovery process
